Approving a Timesheet

Once a user has submitted their Timesheet for approval, administrators may view the Timesheet and perform amendments before finally approving or rejecting the Timesheet.

  1. Navigate to Timesheets > Timesheet Approval in the sidebar
    1. On this page, as well as viewing Timesheets that are Requiring Approval, you can view previously approved Timesheets, import timesheets, and download reports
  2. Select the Timesheet that you would like to Approve from the Requiring Approval table
  3. This page provides a full summary of the Timesheet
    1. Viewing the "Totals", "Weekly", and "Daily" tabs will show you the summary of each time segment
    2. Viewing the "Companies", "Types", and "Projects" tabs will display the totals for each of these categories
  4. On the left hand side of the page is a filter to allow you to view specific information for date ranges, companies, projects etc.
    1. Important Note: While the filter changes the information you are currently viewing on the page, the Approve All Reject All buttons act on All Line Items - not just the currently visible ones
  5. Ensure the information in the submitted Timesheet is accurate
  6. If you notice a Line Item that needs adjustment, press the Edit button on the right hand side of the item
  7. In the dialog that appears, you may make amendments to any of the fields from the Line Item, before pressing the Save button
    1. After saving, you must reload the page to see the changes you have made
  8. Once you are satisfied with all the Line Items in the Timesheet, you may press the Approve All button on the left hand side of the page
  9. If you are not satisfied with the Line Items in the Timesheet, you may press Reject All to send the Line Items back to the user's active Timesheet
    1. This will allow the User to make their own amendments before re-submitting at a later date
